The Rosenbauer Twin’s are relatively new to CGFR and serve as the front-line engine’s out of station 42 and 43 most of the time. They are equipped with a hydraulic 4-wheel drive system which allows them to sit lower to the ground and easily navigate the narrow hilly roads of Fairbanks area. As well as a full complement of equipment for structure fires, the twin engines are provisioned with wildland gear during the summer months.
